There are two different types of fat within our bodies. Essential body fat, and excess body fat and storage body fat. As the name implies, ‘essential’ body fat is needed to maintain a healthy way of living. This type of fat products your organs and contributes to normal bodily functions. However, ‘storage’ body fat is fat that accumulates beneath the skin and is most often responsible for that stubborn tummy fat that we can never get rid of! The NutriPlan Detox will help target this stubborn storage body fat and benefit you in other ways, however there are also a handful of other things you can do to complement your detox plan and optimise your fat burning potential. Here are our top tips…
The 3 Golden Rules of Fat Burning
1. Use a fat burn supplement
Our NutriPlan packages contain a supplement called Raspberry Ketones, a high quality, safe and naturally sourced product, proven to help with fat loss. Indeed, there are many supplements on the market that contain synthetic and potentially harmful chemicals. To avoid these, we recommend you keep it natural and stick with NutriPlan! Below are some fat burning foods that will help to raise your metabolism. Try to introduce some of these into your diet for best results!
Increasing the amount of protein you eat will raise your metabolism and therefore, help to burn more fat than a diet that is high in carbohydrates and fat. Foods high in protein will also help to retain your lean muscle mass whilst you are losing weight, leaving your body looking toned and strong.
3. Drink Enough Water
All of you’re the chemical reactions in your body, including your metabolism, depend on a water. Therefore, the more you drink, the more efficiently your body will be able to burn fat! For example, if you are dehydrated, you may be burning up to 2% fewer calories. We recommend you drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Try blending your NutriPlan Lean Mix and Acai Berry powders with water and ice to create delicious and refreshing smoothies. This is an easy way to help increase your water consumption for the day, as well as providing your body with essential nutrients!
That dreaded word… but unfortunately there is no getting away from it if you want to decrease your body fat! Exercising will speed up the detox process, getting rid of toxins through sweating, as well as using body fat to produce energy. To optimise your fat-burning potential during exercise, keep your heart rate between 60% and 75% of your maximum heart rate! We recommend power walking for 30 to 45 minutes.
